Set in a future society driven by androids and artificial intelligence, the stories of Connor, Markus, and Kara explore personhood, freedom, and moral responsibility. Connor and Markus especially embody contrasting models of masculinity, moving from obedience and control toward empathy and self-determination. The game frequently rewards compassion, cooperation, and emotional understanding. Many key scenes involve reflection on identity, relationships, and ethical choices rather than physical dominance. Male characters openly discuss values, fears, hopes, and obligations. The narrative strongly questions hierarchical structures and rewards relational forms of leadership.
